JAX Garage has been given the opportunity to provide the CX files monoshock conversion kit, developed by Suspension-Store, official distributor and custom shop for YSS suspension. Suitable for Honda CX/GL 400, 500 and 650 range of bikes.
The baseplate as well as the topmounting must be welded to the rear swingarm and main frame. We recommend that your leave the welding up to a professional.

This shock is a nominal 280mm eye to eye and has minor length adjustability +/- 5mm to dial it all in.
Note that each shock is custom built to your specification and takes about 10 business days to process.
Completely adjustment setup including;
1. Preload adjustment,
2. Dampening adjustment,
3. Length adjustment up to +/- 5mm.
The placing of the baseplate shows itself, it has the exact shape of the location it must be welded to.
By varying the height placement of the top mounting, you can choose you own ride-height. We recommend you to stay close to the standard geometry.

Please be aware that, although the conversion is often done, that the standard CX swingarm is not designed to just put a shock on top of it, so we must recommend you to reinforce it.
